David (Spinner) Warne - the long distance expert

Arguably one of the clubs most successful archer to date with a remarkable list of awards.

He came 1st in the Season Average for 2005. He was the winner of the first Robert Wallis Memorial Trophy in 2006, came 3rd in the 2007 event and then won it again in 2008. He also won the inaugural Agincourt trophy in 2008, came 3rd in the 2008 Improvers Trophy and held the club record from June to August 2008 with a mighty score of 111. He was also the winner in the Kings Distance at the Fraternity of St George Champagne Shoot in both 2007 and 2008 and finished 2nd in the 2007 and 2008 Cloth of Gold competition at the same event against some very heavy bows from all over Europe. At the 2009 event he won the Speed Shoot and did very well in the flight shoot against the best archers in the UK. 2011 - won the King's target (bull centre at 60yds!) and came third in the men's Flight Shoot and Cloth of Gold.
